Book My Parents' Shop - Pris Roos

One day, Pris's mother suddenly disappears. Customers stand on the sidewalk in front of a closed roller shutter. When Pris and her father go to investigate, they discover that another world lies hidden behind the shutter: a dense jungle of garter beans and wild rivers of noodle soup.

From Pris Roos:
I have worked on the creation of this book for four years. As a child, I could always be found somewhere reading comic books on the street, or sitting drawing by myself at my desk at home – in an apartment above the shop. Moreover, I am a great lover of books and graphic novels. This book is truly close to my heart; it also offers a glimpse into my own history and thoughts. It is very special to be able to present a book that I made myself to this and future generations, so that they can place it on their own bookshelves.
